Ronja Espresso in Rostock

Mega coffee! Whenever I'm in the area I have to stop by!

This is a nice place for our manageable neighborhood. Small shop with an interesting audience, you always meet someone. On warmer days, if you can get a seat, you can sit outside and watch the Dobi go by. First and foremost, of course, delicious coffee and espresso, in many variations and loose coffee for at home and chocolate and cookies ..... Addendum from Sept. 2020 Unfortunately a bit stupid that the few seats outside are blocked for a very long time by the same discussion groups, especially with empty cups and you hardly have a chance to sit.

I went to Cafe NEBEM for the Ronja Espresso, and it was really bad for me, unfortunately I wrote from the wrong place here. I have nothing to complain about the Ronja Espresso.

The Flat White was a revelation .. It is difficult to find a really good cafe in a new city, this one is a direct hit .. It looks among the top 5 in Germany .. Visually 10/10 points .. Clear recommendation !!!

Great cafe with a still improving advice

Vacation in Rostock, we were too late to have a coffee on site, so we took a small sample of GOLD from Ronjaespresso for testing in the portafilter at home. A nice espresso! I like to drink cappuccino and I have to say that the roast is very easy to process and brings a great result. Rather on the gentle side, but still substantial with a pleasant taste!

Small & nice. There are delicious alternatives to conventional coffee with cow's milk substitute. I like the selection at Chai Teas.

Great location, reasonable prices, in the summer sun a great place for a coffee with a view of the colorful bustle of the Dobi ... Unfortunately, the coffee is not my taste.

Everything is okay clear

Small but very nice. A real tip for coffee lovers.

The staff is nice but incompetent. Hygiene has to be better. A very bad espresso for a roaster: too bitter and poor in taste. Milk drinks weren't particularly tasty either. Price level ok.

We drove a good way (50 km) just in hope of good coffee. Ronja had two espressoblends to choose from - one with 50% Robusta and one with 25% robusta (who still use Robusta anyway? Ronja do 😒 ) Both blends looked like they were roasted way past second crack (at least way to dark). I then asked if We could have Espresso from what looked like a lighter roast from Honduras, and I was happy when she said yes. But my happiness was short - when I saw the double espressoshot run in about 12 seconds. For those who dont know about runningtime, an Espressoshot should roughly run in about 30 seconds. When a shot run fast, it tend to get more sourness and if it runs long, it tend to get more bitterness. The coffe was bad, bitter, burned and smokey, with no body and any floral flavors. They did for sure not know much about coffee or just did not care, wich is sad for Rostock - because looking for good coffee in Rostock on google, Ronja Espresso looked the most serious.

Top-roaster! That is still honest manual work. Varied aromas, gentle and traditional café. Absolute recommendation.
